Internship
A key component of the Bioinformatics Masters Degree at Temple University is an internship that will provide students with experience in original bioinformatic research in a real work environment. The internship may be conducted with a Temple University scientist, or with a member of the Bioinformatics Advisory Committee, or with someone else working in a research capacity at a company. The intership is undertaken in year 2 of the program. During the Fall Semester of year 2 a student will identify an Internship Advisor, write an Intership proposal for approval by the steering committe and begin the research project. During the Spring Semester of year 2 a student will complete the internship following the plan developed in the Fall Semester.
